Responsibilities
- Provide personalized companionship and emotional support to elderly clients
- Assist with daily living activities: bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation
- Monitor vital signs and report health changes to care coordinator
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Maintain clean, safe home environment and organize medications
- Document client care progress and maintain accurate records
- Coordinate with family members and healthcare professionals
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- Valid North Carolina driver's license and reliable transportation
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) preferred
- First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
- Strong communication skills and patience with seniors
- Background check and drug screening required
- Fluency in English (Spanish speakers encouraged to apply)
