Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient conditions, and responses to treatment
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to prevent pressure ulcers
- Support registered nurses in implementing care plans and maintaining patient hygiene
- Respond to call lights promptly and address patient needs with empathy
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation per hospital protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Active Indiana CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year acute care or hospital experience preferred
- Current BLS/CPR certification from AHA
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
