Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with daily activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
- Administer medications as per state regulations and facility policies
- Maintain accurate resident records and care documentation
- Assist with meal service and ensure nutritional needs are met
- Support social and recreational activities to enhance resident wellbeing
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Active Texas CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of long-term care experience preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate approach to elder care
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Pass background check and drug screening
