Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises
- Administer medications under RN supervision and manage medication schedules
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans
- Maintain a safe, clean environment following infection control protocols
- Offer emotional support and companionship to enhance quality of life
Qualifications
- Active Florida CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year experience in geriatric or home care settings
- CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical tasks safely
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation
