Responsibilities
- Delicate patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Accurate vital sign monitoring and documentation using EMR systems
- Mobility support and safe patient transfer techniques
- Collaboration with RNs and interdisciplinary care teams
- Adherence to HIPAA and OSHA compliance protocols
- Emotional support and companionship for residents
- Assistance with therapeutic activities and social engagement
Qualifications
- Active Illinois CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year long-term care or hospital experience
- BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts including weekends
- Basic computer proficiency for documentation systems
- Pass background check and drug screening
