Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care (bathing, dressing, mobility assistance)
- Monitor vital signs and report health changes to RNs
- Assist with medication administration under supervision
- Document care using electronic health records systems
- Create meaningful social interactions with residents
- Maintain clean, safe resident environments
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
Qualifications
- Active GA CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year long-term care experience
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts (days/evenings/nights)
- Basic computer skills for documentation
- CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Clear background check and drug screen
- Compassionate communication style
