Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, endodontic, and surgical treatments
- Manage digital radiography and intraoral imaging systems with precision
- Sterilize instruments and maintain OSHA-compliant operatory protocols
- Prepare treatment rooms and materials for efficient patient flow
- Administer topical anesthetics and fluoride treatments under supervision
- Manage patient scheduling and recall systems for optimal practice efficiency
Qualifications
- Active Colorado Dental Assistant certification or DANB eligibility
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft and digital radiography systems
- CPR certification and BLS certification
- Exceptional chairside communication skills for patient education
- Strong organizational abilities with attention to sterilization protocols
