Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to healthcare team
- Administer medications under supervision of registered nurses
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Maintain accurate care documentation and patient records
- Light housekeeping tasks to ensure safe living environments
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of professional caregiving experience
- Valid NJ Home Health Aide certification (HHA)
- CPR and First Aid certifications (or willingness to obtain)
- Reliable transportation and valid NJ driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and compassion for vulnerable populations
- Clean background check and negative TB test result
- Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems
