Responsibilities
- Perform clinical duties including vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy, and medication administration
- Assist providers with examinations and procedures in ambulatory and inpatient settings
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) and remote patient scheduling via secure telehealth platforms
- Coordinate patient education materials and discharge planning remotely
- Ensure HIPAA compliance for all virtual and in-person patient interactions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams through integrated digital communication tools
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) credential
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in ambulatory or hospital setting
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic preferred) and telehealth technologies
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and clinical workflows
- BLS/CPR certification from AHA or equivalent
