Responsibilities
- Prepare and package prescription medications under the supervision of a Pharmacist, ensuring accuracy and adherence to safety protocols.
- Manage inventory levels, including receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and performing monthly inventory audits.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions regarding medications, insurance coverage, and general pharmacy operations.
- Assist in processing insurance claims and verifying patient information to ensure seamless transactions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with HIPAA regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with the pharmacy team to optimize workflow and improve patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification is required.
- Current state license to practice as a Pharmacy Technician in Texas.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with a patient-centric approach.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of accuracy.
