Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing care across diverse patient populations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and perform diagnostic procedures with precision
- Monitor patient vitals, assess conditions, and document clinical observations accurately
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and safety compliance programs
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and hospital protocols
- Lead shift handovers and mentor junior nursing staff when assigned
Qualifications
- Active Tennessee RN license in good standing
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience in relevant specialty
- BLS, ACLS, and relevant specialty certifications required
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (EPIC preferred)
- Exceptional critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Strong interpersonal abilities with diverse populations
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
