Responsibilities
- Define the 2026 Technology Roadmap: Create and maintain a strategic vision for emerging technologies, identifying gaps and opportunities for innovation.
- Architect Future-Proof Systems: Design scalable microservices and infrastructure capable of handling next-gen data loads and AI integration.
- Lead R&D Initiatives: Oversee proof-of-concept projects for bleeding-edge technologies such as autonomous agents and holographic interfaces.
- Collaborate Across Disciplines: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and data scientists to translate high-level concepts into technical specifications.
- Drive Technical Standards: Establish coding standards, security protocols, and architectural patterns for the engineering team.
- Stakeholder Communication: Present complex technical strategies to executive leadership, demonstrating ROI and feasibility.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: 10+ years of software architecture experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or senior engineering role.
- Technical Mastery: Deep expertise in cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and serverless computing.
- Future Tech Knowledge: Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks, blockchain protocols, or quantum computing concepts.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to solve complex, unstructured problems and navigate ambiguity.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of influencing diverse teams.
