Responsibilities
- Strategic Roadmapping: Define the technological roadmap for the 2026 timeframe, focusing on AI convergence, quantum integration, and advanced biotech interfaces.
- R&D Leadership: Lead a cross-functional team of engineers, data scientists, and strategists to prototype and validate next-generation solutions.
- Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of emerging tech trends to determine their impact on our business and industry standards.
- Talent Development: Mentor high-potential talent and foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the engineering department.
- Stakeholder Communication: Present complex technical concepts and strategic visions to executive leadership and board members effectively.
- Partnerships: Identify and cultivate relationships with key players in the research and development community.
Qualifications
- Experience: 15+ years of experience in software engineering, strategic technology consulting, or R&D leadership.
- Education: Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Physics, or a related field is preferred.
- Tech Stack: Deep understanding of AI/ML architectures, cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure), and quantum computing fundamentals.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading high-impact R&D projects and managing large engineering teams.
- Vision: Exceptional ability to anticipate future technological shifts and translate them into actionable business strategies.
- Communication: Superior verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence diverse audiences.
