Responsibilities
- Strategic Roadmap Development: Define and execute the long-term technical strategy for the 2026 horizon, aligning with company business goals.
- Innovation Leadership: Identify emerging technologies and assess their potential for integration into our core products.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, design, and engineering teams to translate high-level strategies into actionable technical plans.
- Pilot Program Management: Lead the research and development of prototype technologies, managing a budget of up to $5M annually.
- Talent Development: Mentor senior engineering leads and foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
- Stakeholder Communication: Present complex technical concepts and future visions to C-level executives and external partners.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in software engineering, product management, or technical strategy, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Technical Acumen: Deep understanding of cloud architecture, AI/ML, and distributed systems.
- Visionary Mindset: Demonstrated ability to foresee industry trends and adapt strategies accordingly.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading diverse teams through complex transformation projects.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating complex ideas to diverse audiences.
