Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-year technology roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, biotech interfaces) for competitive advantage
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions with $5M+ R&D budgets
- Present strategic frameworks to C-suite and board members with data-driven impact projections
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators for talent acquisition
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting tech adoption in 2026 landscapes
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Strategic Innovation (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in tech strategy with 3+ years in emerging technologies forecasting
- Proven track record scaling tech products from concept to $100M+ ARR
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, climate tech, or neurotech
- Published research or patents in high-impact journals (Nature, IEEE, etc.)
- Executive-level experience managing $10M+ budgets and 50+ person teams
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., WFS, APF) or equivalent strategic foresight training
