- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year adoption curves
- Design governance frameworks for ethical AI deployment and data sovereignty protocols
- Partner with product teams to embed future-readiness into current development cycles
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite on emerging tech implications and opportunities
- Manage vendor relationships for emerging tech prototyping and pilot programs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with demonstrable impact on future-focused initiatives
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI ethics, biotech, etc.)
- Proven experience translating complex technical concepts into executable business strategies
- Strong analytical skills with ability to model long-term technology adoption scenarios
- Exceptional communication skills for influencing stakeholders across technical and non-technical domains
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership on future technology trends (patents, white papers, or industry talks)
