Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market forecasts
- Lead cross-functional teams to integrate emerging technologies into core products
- Conduct competitive analysis and patent landscape reviews for futuristic tech domains
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Oversee $50M+ R&D budget allocation for next-gen innovation projects
- Establish ethical frameworks for AI and autonomous system deployments
- Collaborate with MIT and Stanford on joint research initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in executive leadership
- Published research in AI ethics, quantum computing, or biotechnology
- Proven track record of launching products with >$1B market impact
- Expertise in scenario planning and futures forecasting methodologies
- Strong network with DARPA, NSF, or equivalent innovation bodies
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python, Rust, etc.)
