Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-year technology roadmaps for AI, biotech, and quantum computing domains
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage innovation portfolio prioritization using scenario planning frameworks
- Author thought leadership pieces on the future of technology adoption
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation management
- Proven track record of launching products based on emerging tech trends
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, or synthetic biology
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with technology forecasting methodologies (e.g., Delphi, horizon scanning)
- Demonstrated success in managing cross-functional R&D teams
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making capabilities
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation or future studies
