Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies including AGI, biotech integration, and climate-positive innovations
- Lead cross-functional prototyping sprints to validate futuristic concepts with pilot partners
- Analyze global tech policy landscapes to identify regulatory opportunities and risks
- Build foresight frameworks using scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Manage relationships with academic institutions and R&D labs for collaborative innovation
- Present strategic insights to C-suite and board members for decision-making
- Drive patent strategy for breakthrough technologies in development
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning or technology innovation with proven impact on future-facing projects
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AR/VR, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, or related field
- Portfolio demonstrating successful implementation of 3+ long-term tech initiatives
- Certification in Foresight Methodology or Strategic Foresight preferred
- Experience scaling innovations from concept to market in regulated industries
- Deep understanding of ethical AI frameworks and sustainable tech principles
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
