Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligned with business objectives
- Research and analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech integration) for competitive advantage
- Lead high-impact innovation projects bridging R&D and commercialization
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build and manage a dedicated innovation lab team of 8-12 specialists
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Monitor global tech trends and regulatory shifts affecting our industry
- Drive adoption of sustainable technology practices across all initiatives
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in executive leadership
- Proven track record in scaling innovative tech products/services from concept to market
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, AR/VR, biotech)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with tech specialization
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management preferred
- Exceptional strategic communication skills with ability to influence C-suite
- Experience managing $5M+ innovation budgets and cross-functional teams
- Published thought leadership in tech journals or industry conferences
