Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026+ technology strategy roadmap aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in quantum AI and biotech integration
- Analyze emerging tech patents and academic research for competitive advantage
- Present innovation briefings to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage $5M+ annual R&D budget allocation for future tech incubation
- Partner with policy think tanks on ethical tech governance frameworks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech roles with 5+ in future technologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proven track record in scaling disruptive technologies (quantum/AI/blockchain)
- Published thought leadership in IEEE or Nature journals
- Experience with patent portfolio valuation and IP strategy
- Strong network with DARPA, MIT Media Lab, or similar institutions
- Certified Futurist (CFP) or equivalent preferred
