Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping emerging tech solutions (neuromorphic chips, synthetic biology interfaces)
- Conduct horizon scanning for paradigm-shifting technologies (quantum AI, neural dust networks)
- Partner with R&D to validate technical feasibility of futuristic concepts
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Drive innovation culture through hackathons and tech incubation programs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech planning with Fortune 500 or unicorn-scale companies
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, biotech, AGI)
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products with $50M+ revenue impact
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism
- Published thought leadership in IEEE Nature or similar tier journals
- Certification in Technology Foresight (TFI) or equivalent
