Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year strategic technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in quantum computing, neural networks, and decentralized systems
- Conduct competitive intelligence analysis on emerging tech disruptors (AR/VR, biotech fusion, etc.)
- Architect scalable innovation frameworks for ethical AI implementation and sustainable tech adoption
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investor boards
- Manage $15M+ innovation budgets with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Build and mentor a high-performing innovation lab team of 12+ specialists
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech planning with 5+ years in emerging technologies (quantum, AI, blockchain)
- Proven track record of commercializing cutting-edge innovations (3+ successful product launches)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with tech specialization
- Deep expertise in technology forecasting methodologies (e.g., Delphi analysis, scenario planning)
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in fast-paced tech environments
- Strong proficiency in data analytics tools (Tableau, Python, R) for trend analysis
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex tech concepts to diverse audiences
