Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive technology roadmaps for 2026-2030
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum computing applications
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging tech disruptors
- Partner with C-suite to align tech strategy with business objectives
- Secure $10M+ in R&D funding through strategic proposals
- Mentor junior researchers and foster innovation culture
- Present findings at global tech summits (Web Summit, CES, etc.)
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech strategy with 5+ in future-tech roles
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published research in AI, quantum computing, or biotech
- Proven track record of scaling tech initiatives to enterprise level
- Deep understanding of regulatory landscapes for emerging tech
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants
- Expertise in scenario planning and risk mitigation for tech transitions
