Responsibilities
- Architect and execute a 5-year technology innovation roadmap aligned with 2026 market projections
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing and prototyping next-gen AI, quantum, and sustainable tech solutions
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies and market opportunities
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Drive partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and global tech leaders
- Mentor senior engineers and product managers on future-tech methodologies
- Establish KPIs and frameworks for measuring innovation ROI and market impact
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in C-suite or VP-level leadership
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Deep expertise in future forecasting methodologies and market trend analysis
- Experience leading R&D initiatives with budgets exceeding $50M
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business (PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership on technological disruption and innovation strategy
- Strong network within Silicon Valley's tech ecosystem and global innovation hubs
- Certification in Futures Studies or Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFMP)
