Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year tech roadmaps aligning with 2026 societal and market trends
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, and decentralized AI
- Partner with C-suite to translate technical vision into enterprise strategy
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets across 3 emerging tech verticals
- Present findings to federal tech councils and industry consortiums
- Mentor a team of 12 futurists and senior engineers
- Secure patents for breakthrough technologies in AR/VR interfaces
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy with 5+ in emerging tech leadership
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or Systems Engineering
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum/AI convergence
- Track record of launching products with $100M+ ARR
- Expertise in ethical AI frameworks and policy development
- Fluency in at least 2 programming languages (Python, Rust preferred)
- Certified in Quantum Computing Architecture (IBM/Google)
- Experience securing SBIR/STTR grants for frontier tech
