Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026 technology roadmap aligned with global market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and implementing next-gen technologies including quantum computing, synthetic biology, and advanced AI systems
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, government agencies, and industry leaders to accelerate innovation
- Analyze emerging tech disruptions and recommend proactive adaptation strategies to maintain competitive advantage
- Present technology forecasts and investment proposals to C-suite executives and board members
- Mentor junior strategists and cultivate an innovation culture through internal workshops and hackathons
- Monitor ethical implications of emerging technologies and develop responsible implementation frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 10+ years in strategic technology planning
- Proven track record of successfully launching future-focused technologies (quantum/AI/biotech experience essential)
- Deep expertise in technology forecasting methodologies and market trend analysis
- Executive-level communication skills with ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Experience managing multi-million dollar R&D budgets and cross-functional innovation teams
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Global network of technology innovators and researchers across academia and industry
