Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap
- Identify and evaluate emerging tech trends (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence)
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and scale disruptive solutions
- Secure $5M+ in R&D funding through strategic partnerships
- Present findings to C-suite and board members quarterly
- Mentor junior strategists in future-scanning methodologies
- File 3+ patents annually for proprietary innovations
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in emerging tech commercialization
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics
- Experience with futures forecasting frameworks (e.g., Delphi, STEEP)
- Deep knowledge of Web4.0, AGI ethics, and decentralized systems
- Published research in peer-reviewed tech journals
- Fluency in Mandarin or Japanese (for APAC partnerships)
- Certification in Technology Foresight (e.g., APF)
