Responsibilities
- Architect and implement the 2026+ technology innovation roadmap aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, synthetic biology)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Develop strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Translate complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies for executive stakeholders
- Establish KPIs for innovation ROI and track progress against 2026 milestones
- Champion ethical technology frameworks and responsible innovation practices
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with proven experience in emerging tech adoption cycles
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, advanced AI, biotech convergence, or spatial computing
- Track record of launching products with $50M+ revenue impact
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or top-tier tech publications
- Proficiency in scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Experience scaling innovation teams in fast-paced environments
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management preferred
