- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging AI, quantum computing, and biotech breakthroughs
- Lead high-stakes innovation projects with $5M+ budgets and cross-continental teams
- Partner with C-suite executives to align tech strategy with business objectives
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote speeches at global tech forums
- Manage vendor ecosystems for emerging technology integration
- Build and mentor a specialized future-tech innovation lab
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with proven 5+ year planning success
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, AR/VR, neurotech)
- Executive-level experience in Fortune 500 or unicorn-scale organizations
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, IEEE)
- Fluency in Mandarin and/or Arabic for global stakeholder engagement
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., WFS, Foresight Practitioner)
- Portfolio of successfully launched future-tech initiatives
