Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 technology roadmaps across AI, quantum computing, and biotech domains
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives with $50M+ annual innovation budget
- Establish strategic partnerships with MIT, Stanford, and global research institutions
- Conduct horizon scanning and market analysis for emerging technologies
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage portfolio of 15+ experimental projects with 3-year incubation cycles
- Drive patent strategy and intellectual property monetization
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic technology planning or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI, quantum computing, biotech, or sustainable tech
- Experience managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
- Strong network within academic and tech innovation ecosystems
- Exceptional presentation skills for executive audiences
- Published research or patents in relevant fields preferred
