Responsibilities
- Research and forecast disruptive technologies with 2026 commercialization potential
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotech innovations
- Lead stakeholder workshops to align technical initiatives with business objectives
- Competitive analysis of emerging tech startups and incumbent players
- Present innovation insights to executive leadership and external investors
- Manage a $5M+ R&D portfolio for experimental technology validation
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy, R&D management, or venture capital
- Proven track record in emerging tech commercialization (AI, blockchain, AR/VR)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
- Deep understanding of exponential technology trends (Singularity University preferred)
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Certified Innovation Professional (CIP) or similar designation
- Portfolio demonstrating at least 3 successful tech-to-market transitions
- Expertise in ethical tech governance and responsible innovation frameworks
