Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology vision roadmap aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead research on emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, decentralized systems) and assess commercial viability
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-tech innovations into core offerings
- Build strategic relationships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Present technology forecasts to executive stakeholders and board members
- Manage a $2M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused allocation strategies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech domains
- Proven track record of launching future-oriented products or platforms
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, blockchain, AGI development, or biotech convergence
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through complex digital transformations
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism (whitepapers, patents, or keynotes)
- Proficiency in scenario planning and technology impact assessment frameworks
