Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify emerging tech trends with 2026 commercial viability
- Develop and execute technology roadmaps aligning with corporate vision and market disruption forecasts
- Partner with C-suite to prioritize R&D investments in quantum, biotech, and AI convergence domains
- Architect ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and next-gen human-machine interfaces
- Present strategic briefings to investors and board members on future tech portfolio expansion
- Mentor cross-functional teams in rapid prototyping and agile innovation methodologies
- Establish KPIs for measuring tech adoption readiness and market disruption impact
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with proven 2030-vision track record
- Expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neuromorphic AI
- Published thought leadership in IEEE, Nature, or equivalent tier-1 tech journals
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurology (PhD preferred)
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools and technology adoption lifecycle modeling
- Experience securing $50M+ in future-tech venture funding or corporate innovation grants
- Certification in Tech Ethics (IEEE or ACM) and sustainable technology standards
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ commercialized future-tech innovations
