Responsibilities
- Lead research and development of 5+ year technology roadmaps for emerging domains
- Analyze quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, and decentralized tech convergence points
- Design ethical AI governance frameworks aligned with 2030 regulatory landscapes
- Partner with product teams to integrate future tech into commercial roadmaps
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and investor stakeholders
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and geopolitical implications
- Build cross-functional innovation labs with academic and industry partners
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Expertise in at least 2 emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, bioinformatics)
- Published thought leadership in IEEE or Nature journals preferred
- Proven track record of scaling from prototype to production
- Experience with EU AI Act, US CHIPS Act, or similar regulatory frameworks
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Fluency in technology forecasting methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Strong network with DARPA, NSF, or similar innovation ecosystems
