Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, Web3, biotech) to identify strategic opportunities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead innovation workshops and hackathons to generate breakthrough solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate future-facing concepts
- Monitor competitor tech ecosystems and identify disruptive threats/opportunities
- Build relationships with academic institutions, startups, and industry consortia
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation leadership
- Proven track record of launching successful future-tech initiatives
- Deep expertise in at least 2 emerging technology domains
- Strong data analysis and market research capabilities
- Exceptional strategic communication and presentation skills
- Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business (PhD preferred)
- Experience in agile/lean methodologies and product development lifecycles
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management (e.g., CFTE, MIT SLOAN)
