Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence) to define strategic innovation horizons
- Develop technology roadmaps spanning 2024-2026 with phased implementation milestones
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate technical capabilities into market opportunities
- Establish KPI frameworks for measuring ROI on future technology investments
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite stakeholders and external partners
- Monitor regulatory landscapes affecting emerging technologies
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership at Fortune 500 scale
- Proven track record developing 3+ year technology roadmaps
- Expertise in at least 3 emerging tech domains (quantum, AR/VR, blockchain, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making experience
- Exceptional communication skills for executive stakeholder management
- Certification in technology forecasting or innovation management preferred
- Experience with agile development methodologies in tech innovation
