Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech, sustainable energy) to identify strategic opportunities for 2026+ market leadership
- Develop comprehensive innovation roadmaps with 3-5 year horizons, balancing technical feasibility with business impact
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, researchers, and product managers to execute future-focused initiatives
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and global R&D centers
- Present technology visions and strategic proposals to C-suite executives and board members
- Monitor competitive landscapes and regulatory shifts affecting future technology adoption
- Drive sustainable technology integration aligned with ESG principles and circular economy models
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging technology roles at Fortune 500 companies
- Proven track record of launching at least two successful future-focused initiatives with measurable ROI
- Expertise in at least three emerging technology domains (AI/ML, quantum, AR/VR, blockchain, or biotech)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data into actionable strategies
- Exceptional communication skills with experience presenting to executive audiences and investors
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Certifications in emerging technologies (e.g., AWS ML, Google Quantum AI) or strategic management (e.g., PMP)
- Deep understanding of global technology policy and ethical AI frameworks
