This role combines deep technical acumen with strategic foresight to transform theoretical possibilities into market-ready solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies with transformative potential by 2026
- Develop strategic roadmaps for enterprise adoption of next-gen innovations (quantum AI, neural interfaces, synthetic biology)
- Conduct scenario-planning workshops for C-suite executives on technology disruption risks and opportunities
- Build innovation frameworks integrating ethical AI governance and sustainable tech principles
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype commercial applications of breakthrough technologies
- Author thought leadership on future-tech convergence for industry publications and conferences
- Manage cross-functional teams executing pilot programs for emerging tech solutions
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology consulting or corporate innovation leadership
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Proven track record developing enterprise strategies for emerging tech adoption
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, advanced AI, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- Experience with scenario planning and technology impact assessment methodologies
- Published research or patents in future technologies (2018-2023)
- Fluency in strategic foresight frameworks (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Innovation Management preferred
