Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections
- Lead emerging technology discovery initiatives in AI, biotech, and quantum computing
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-ready features into core offerings
- Conduct competitive analysis and patent landscape reviews for emerging sectors
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and investment committees
- Manage innovation lab budgets and vendor relationships for prototyping
- Represent company at Davos, CES, and specialized tech foresight conferences
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic technology planning or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching future-focused products/services post-2020
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, AR/VR)
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Innovation
- Strong network with academic institutions and national labs
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Innovation Management preferred
- Prior experience scaling tech teams for exponential growth phases
