Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead R&D initiatives in emerging fields including generative AI, biotech fusion, and decentralized systems
- Conduct scenario planning for disruptive technologies and their ethical implications
- Partner with C-suite executives to integrate future tech into product roadmaps
- Build and mentor a high-performing innovation lab team
- Secure patents and publish research in top-tier journals/conferences
- Represent company at global tech summits and policy forums
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ in emerging tech leadership
- Proven track record of launching commercialized tech products
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, climate tech, or neurotech
- Strong patent portfolio with 5+ granted patents
- Experience with regulatory frameworks for novel technologies
- Exceptional strategic thinking with data-driven decision-making
- Fluency in Python, Kubernetes, and cloud architecture
