Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology strategy roadmap aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead research on emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech integration)
- Partner with product teams to prioritize innovation initiatives for 2026 product launches
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Manage $2M+ annual R&D budget for future technology exploration
- Build and lead a cross-functional innovation task force
- Monitor competitive landscape and disruptor threats in emerging tech sectors
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership at Fortune 500 or scale-up
- Proven track record launching tech products with 3+ years future-horizon planning
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (Web3, AI, quantum, etc.)
- Strong financial modeling skills for tech ROI analysis
- Published thought leadership in tech journals or major industry conferences
- Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business (PhD preferred)
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts for executive audiences
