Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy for 2026+ market dominance
- Lead research on emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, Web3) and assess commercial viability
- Collaborate with C-suite to align tech initiatives with business objectives and investor roadmaps
- Build and manage a global network of academic, startup, and corporate innovation partners
- Present strategic recommendations to stakeholders through compelling data visualizations and scenario modeling
- Oversee R&D budget allocation for experimental technologies with 5-10 year horizons
- Mentor junior strategists and foster a culture of innovation across departments
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation consulting with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven track record of successfully launching future-focused initiatives
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI/ML, quantum computing, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to model complex systems and predict market shifts
- Strong network within Silicon Valley's tech ecosystem and academic institutions
