At InnovateNext, you'll lead cross-functional initiatives across our Palo Alto and Boston labs, collaborate with Nobel laureates, and secure $50M+ in R&D funding. This role reports directly to our CTO and offers unparalleled influence on emerging tech policy through our White House Tech Council partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute the 2026 technology innovation framework spanning AI ethics, quantum cryptography, and climate-positive engineering
- Lead a $25M R&D budget allocation across 12 international research hubs
- Forge strategic partnerships with MIT, Stanford, and NASA for collaborative development
- Present future tech roadmaps to C-suite executives and venture capital partners
- Drive patent development targeting 15+ breakthrough technologies annually
- Oversee the Future Tech Incubator program mentoring 50+ researchers
Qualifications
- 15+ years in emerging tech strategy with 5+ years at executive level
- Published research in Nature/Science journals or equivalent impact
- Proven track record scaling technology portfolios to $100M+ revenue
- Expertise in quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, or carbon-negative tech
- Active security clearance (Top Secret preferred)
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Physics, or Engineering
- Fluency in Mandarin and Arabic for global stakeholder engagement
