Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market forecasts
- Lead research initiatives in quantum AI integration and biotech convergence
- Collaborate with VPs of Engineering to prototype disruptive solutions
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and investors on emerging tech trends
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets for experimental projects
- Partner with regulatory teams to navigate emerging tech policies
Qualifications
- MS/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurology
- 8+ years in tech strategy or R&D leadership
- Published research in IEEE Nature or similar tier-1 journals
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Proven track record of scaling experimental projects to commercial deployment
- Fluency in scenario planning methodologies and technology forecasting
- Experience securing federal grants for tech innovation (SBIR/STTR)
