Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research on emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) and assess strategic implications
- Develop and execute 2026+ technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market trends
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints and pilot programs for breakthrough technologies
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board members with data-driven insights
- Build and maintain partnerships with leading research institutions, startups, and technology vendors
- Monitor competitive landscape and regulatory shifts to identify opportunities and risks
- Mentor junior strategists and foster a culture of innovation across the organization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's or PhD preferred)
- 7+ years of experience in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of successfully implementing emerging technologies at scale
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (e.g., AI ethics, sustainable tech, neurotech)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable strategies
- Strong stakeholder management experience with executive-level communication skills
- Experience with scenario planning, technology forecasting, and strategic roadmapping methodologies
- Certification in innovation management or technology strategy (e.g., CTO School, INSEAD) preferred
