Responsibilities

- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives with top-tier academic and industry partners
- Conduct scenario planning for emerging tech disruptions and regulatory impacts
- Secure $5M+ in innovation grants and strategic partnerships
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage patent portfolios and intellectual property strategy
- Launch at least two breakthrough tech prototypes annually
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (MS with 8+ years experience)
- Proven track record in emerging tech commercialization (AI/quantum/biotech)
- Experience with technology forecasting methodologies (Delphi, Horizon scanning)
- Demonstrated success securing venture funding or government grants
- Expertise in ethical tech frameworks and responsible innovation
- Strong network with academic research institutions and VCs
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech journals
- Proficiency in data modeling for trend analysis and predictive insights
