Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, neurotech, synthetic biology) and develop 5-year strategic implementation plans
- Lead cross-functional teams in integrating breakthrough innovations into core business operations
- Conduct competitive analysis and scenario planning for technological disruptions
- Develop patent strategies and IP frameworks for next-gen innovations
- Present technology roadmaps to C-suite executives and board members
- Collaborate with venture capital partners to identify acquisition targets
- Establish KPIs for innovation ROI and track technology adoption curves
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
