Responsibilities
- Scan horizon for emerging technologies (2026-2030) and assess market viability
- Develop 5-year innovation roadmaps aligned with corporate growth objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and board members
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Monitor geopolitical/regulatory impacts on technology adoption
- Mentor junior strategists and foster innovation culture
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Engineering, or Business (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in tech strategy, R&D, or innovation management
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, quantum computing, climate tech, or biotech
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making
- Exceptional presentation skills for executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in tech journals or conferences
- Experience managing $500K+ innovation budgets
