Responsibilities
- Identify and analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) with commercial potential by 2026
- Develop strategic technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market trends
- Lead cross-functional innovation initiatives from concept to prototype development
- Build and maintain relationships with research institutions, startups, and industry pioneers
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to executive leadership
- Manage innovation budgets and resources for experimental projects
- Drive commercialization strategies for breakthrough technologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (AI, quantum, AR/VR, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical and forecasting abilities with data-driven decision making
- Experience managing R&D budgets exceeding $5M
- Strong executive presence and cross-cultural collaboration skills
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation or future trends
